Robert Gibbs says White House did not offer Joe Sestak intel post but refuses to provide details

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs indicated Tuesday that Rep. Joe Sestak was not offered a spot on the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board but refused to say what was dangled in front of the Democrat in an attempt to remove him from a Senate primary. The spot offered to Sestak, Gibbs said to reporters at the White House, “didn’t constitute a lot of what you’re hearing.” But Gibbs refused to clarify what Sestak, who won the May 18 primary and is now the Democratic nominee for Senate, was offered.

Robert Culp, who starred in `I Spy,' dead at 79

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Robert Culp, the versatile actor who teamed with Bill Cosby in the groundbreaking comedy-adventure TV series "I Spy," has died. He was 79. The actor's agent Hillard Elkins says Culp died after collapsing Wednesday on a sidewalk outside his Hollywood home. Los Angeles police say he hit his head while on a walk and was pronounced dead after arriving at a hospital. A preliminary investigation found that his death is accidental.

NY Civil Rights Lawyer Charged With Tax Fraud

An attorney who already faces charges of attempting to steal the identity of her former law partner's husband was charged yesterday with a felony tax fraud count. The lawyer, Bonnie Strunk, entered a not guilty plea through her attorney, Christine Cook. Ms. Strunk was allowed to remain free on her own recognizance by Supreme Court Justice John Brunetti in Onondaga County. Ms. Strunk, 61, faces a third-degree count of tax fraud for allegedly failing to file a personal income tax return for 2008, with a tax liability of $11,777.
